Do you enjoy autumn in the city –  yellow, red and orange colors next to intricate Boston architecture, the crisp air and all the autumn decorations and activities? Let’s go outside and see our beautiful city with fresh eyes! The focus of this workshop is on capturing the essence of autumn and combining natural and urban elements in the sketches. You will be inspired to have fluid sketches, try different wet and dry media and use expressive color.

Do not worry about rain, there are plenty of semi-covered areas in the city for us to use.  For advice on which materials to get, please reach out before the workshop! kwish@massart.edu

No previous art experience is necessary.

Locations may include MassArt, Christopher Columbus Waterfront Park, Boston Common, Faneuil Hall Marketplace, Waterfront/ New England Aquarium Area, Symphony Area, Boston Public Library. The exact locations will be determined closer to the workshop depending on the weather.

Students will be emailed where to meet on the first of the workshop a day or or two in advance.
All locations are easily accessible within Boston.
