This workshop is a great class for beginners in the wood shop, and covers the bandsaw and some basic carving techniques. Participants in the class will build a basic box that may be then customized with a carved pull or knob, hand-carved decoration, wood burning, paint, etc. This class uses the bandsaw and hand tools including files, rasps, and chisels.

This class meets in-person on campus in the DMC (Design and Media Center) Woodshop.
