In this course you will use digital and traditional media to complete a series of creative design projects that will sharpen your “design eye,” build skills for impactful use of design elements and principles, and grow your ability to develop unique and expressive graphic form. You’ll gain experience with design process as you work independently between class meetings on structured design assignments in stages, in order to get work-in-progress feedback from peers and the instructor at each live class session. Complete the course with a portfolio of concept-driven 2D design projects that show skill and your unique design personality, as well as 3 college credits.

Prerequisites: Basic observational drawing skills; working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

This class takes place online and meets using Zoom.
