Discover the magic of Persian miniature painting in this fully online course designed for artists of all levels. You’ll learn to create intricate and vibrant compositions featuring flowers, birds, animals, and natural scenes – drawing inspiration from both traditional Persian aesthetics and your own imagination. With a focus on historical and contemporary styles, this course offers recorded video demonstrations and step-by-step instruction to support your creative journey at your own pace.We will be working with gouache and watercolor on smooth, non-textured paper to achieve the delicate detail characteristic of miniature painting. Students will gain confidence using tiny brushes and learn essential watercolor techniques to bring each composition to life. This meditative, detail-oriented practice invites you to slow down and connect deeply with your materials, culture, and creative voice.
