Do you have an idea that you would like to bring to life? Join a stimulating environment in which you can create the best version of your concepts through fresh perspectives, constructive critiques, and hands-on artwork generation. This workshop dives into pre-production processes in an animation workflow. Storyboarding, animatics, background design, and character design will be covered with an emphasis on honing each student’s vision. We will also cover how to set-up a DIY home animation studio as well as incorporate digital tools including Stop Motion Studio, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Premiere. Each class consists of screenings, discussions, critiques and studio. Screenings of animations include historical and contemporary perspectives, in conjunction with relevant visual presentations. This workshop is suitable for both experienced animators and individuals who may not have any animation background.
This online workshop uses the ZOOM platform.
